Not sure what to say?

Pres. Collins, my heart goes out to you at this time. I was working on my family history when Sue came to my mind. It has been a few years since I last saw you both but I felt inspired to look her up to see if she had passed on. I googled her name and found that she had. Tears flowed as memories rushed in of her fun stories, and glowing smile. How thankful I am that she reached out from the other side of the veil to let me know she has gone home. Love, Keli Meyers

Dear Pres. Collins -- Your sweet wife will always be with you. Thank you for sharing her with so many of us during your time as Singapore mission presidents. Much love and appreciation -- Miow Lin, aka Sis. Yap

Dear Nick, Cal, Chip and the Collins family: We were just informed of Sue´s passing and want to express our sincerest condolences to each of you. What a wonderful woman and it´s hard to think of Sue without Nick by her side. Thanks for raising such a great family. We´re comforted knowing your separation is temporary. Blessings of warm and tender memories of your times together to you all. Dana & Tim Edvalson

My dear friend, Nick, my heart goes out to you at this tender time, but I know as do you the reality of life, eternal with those to him we have been sealed we´re all time and eternity, My sweetheart passed away last June, so I have a sense of your loss. I knew inevitably one of us would pass away first, but I had no idea how difficult it would be. I would love to visit with you sometime in person or on the phone or at the temple. I remember Ramona and I had just returned from our Singapore...

Whenever I sing hymn 249, Called to Serve, I can´t help but smile and remember Sister Collins leading the hymn at all of our missionary meetings. She would bounce up and down through the aisles leading us with her contagious smile and love in her eyes. When you spoke to her, you always felt her love for the lord, her family, and you.

Sister Collins was a true Saint in every sense of the word. She and President Collins had a profound and positive impact on my life in so many ways. I will never forget her smile and her positive attitude. I hate singing (always have) so when I have to sing I usually do it half-heartedly so I don't subject anyone to the torture of hearing the sounds that come out of my mouth. But when the missionaries would sing "Called To Serve" she would walk right up to me and sing with a huge smile on...

I've heard about mother in heaven but never seen her, but I have met a mother in mission field, that's Sue Collins. So sad to hear her death, she was more than a mother to all of us. Her sweet kindness and warm love cannot be imitated. May she rest in peace!
