John, Dave & Omar, I remember talking with Susan at Dave's 40th during the morning brunch which we needed from the night before at his party.
Now I know where Dave and Omar got their fitness motivations from, she was an inspiration for them and will be from now on I'm sure.
The picture of Susan in her younger days reminds me of my sister and how her hairdo was very similar which was a sixties style I believe, very stylish back then.

You all are in my thoughts and...

To John, Dave and Omar. I never really got to talk much to Susan when our families were together until 2 years ago on Dave's 40th birthday she and I sat under the comport at Dave and Larisa's and had a wonderful conversation. I will always remember that and wish we could have had more. I didn't know she was a runner in her day but now it all makes since why Dave and Omar are Ironmen! What a great legacy. I'm sure now more than ever you think of her as you endure the race and know she's with...

to my sister sue...

I will be thinking of you especially at the campgrounds this summer. sitting around in the evening and telling... and re-telling! those stories of days that used to be. you've done a great job raising your boys to be fine men now... and your grandchildren will surely miss your experience and guidance. I know you love us all, and we do you as well.

travel well... and i know we'll meet again for a family reunion, (time and place to be yet...

To John and The Markiewicz family, our deepest sympathy-I remember back in the day when my sister Dee was alive and all the memories with Susie- we all grew up together in the ole neighborhood around St. Casimir and East High. She will be sadly missed.
