Byles Memorial Home - New London Obituary

SUSAN VICTOR CORDEIRO age 66 of Groton, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London.


Susan was born in New London on August 5, 1958 the daughter of Francis W. and Dorothy Reilly Victor. She married Arsenio Cordeiro on June 18, 1988 in Gales Ferry.


Susan graduated from Ledyard High School, class of 1977 and before her retirement, she worked as a waitress and in retail sales.


Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Amanda Clark (Brandon) of Gales Ferry and Katrina Cordeiro (Justin Price) of Waterford, her brothers, Paul Victor of Cleveland, OH and Steve Victor of West Hartford, her sisters, Karen Paradiso of Westfield, IN, Kathy Griswold of Jacksonville, FL and Beth Nohara of Mystic.  Susan also is survived by her three grandchildren, Sydney, Jordan and Corey and many loving nieces and nephews. 


Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 25, from 5 until 7 o’clock at the Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 26 from 1 until 4 o’clock at the Groton Lodge of Elks, 700 Shennecossett Road, Groton.  In lieu of flower donations in her memory may be directed to the American Lung Association. 45 Ash St, E. So sorry to hear of Susan's passing. I worked with her at the Former Ramada Inn in Mystic back in the early 80's. Saw her at work at Lowes a few years ago. May the comfort of Jesus be with the family she left behind. John 3:16.
