Not sure what to say?

Dear Susie,
Even though you weren't my aunt, it seemed as if you were. You were my best friend's aunt, for whom she was named. You were also my first and favorite music teacher at DCD. My favorite memories are from when I was a girl, watching you working in your amazing gardens. Your spirit and energy will be missed. My sincere condolences to all the Dineens, Wales (Ted, Ralph, and Andrew especially), and the Lowell family.

One of the the most wonderful and inspiring teachers I ever had. Thank you "Mrs. Wales."
I'll always remember you.

Aunt Susie was the most fun adult I knew when I was growing up.
Then when I was an adult ... she still was! Unconventional, caring, warm … she just brightened up a room. When she said to my father "Now, brother John..." we knew a funny quip or story was coming. We will all miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love, Ellie

Dearest John and all the family members,

Susan was a driving force behind my creativity in college. I can say without hesitation that she was a large source of strength for me in my younger days. I will miss her hearty smile and infectious laugh.

Please know that Kate & I wish you strength and love.

Dear Susan, Now your sufferings are over we can think of you as you really were, vibrant, full of life and love and laughter and song.
I like to imagine you running into Don Angle among the heavenly host ....
TOADS - Together overcoming all distresses

John,

I was very sorry to hear the sad news about Susan through Rob Ford. My family's and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have so many fond memories of Susan. She was my second mother at Fox Hill Street when I was over there with my closest friends (her family). My deepest sympathy and love to the Lowell's; Wales'; Dineen's, etc, and everyone else who loved her as well.

John,
I am sorry for your loss. I know your fond memories will sustain you through these difficult times. My prays are with you.

Dearest Susan and family~ I send my deepest sympathy as you let go of this remarkable woman. She taught me music almost my whole ten years at DCD(1972-1982). But more than music and theatre education and love~ she believed in me. Mrs. Wales was the one who could see my potential without question~she is a deep inspiration for who I am now. What an extraordinary woman and gift. This world is a better place because of her essence.
