Not sure what to say?

to the family of mrs. fleming as a judge she cared about children and families i will always cherish an order that said for dcfs to put my children into larabida childrens hospital on july 27th 1993 for a complete physical examination. i have framed this order in plastic. she will be missed.

I worked with Susan as an Assistant State's Attorney and as a judge. She is very much missed and was greatly admired in the legal community in Chicago.

Susan and I attended the University of WI. Madison together and lived in the same dorm for 2 years. I'll never forget the trip back to school, after Christmas break, when I was squished into the back of her VW Bug. She was a great lady.

I only met Susan once but I would like to say how gracious she was in welcoming two strangers (to her) into her home for a few days holiday. I am a a friend of Cal's from way back and, knowing that my husband and myself were in New York visiting my daughter, they kindly invited us to stay with them in Albuquerque. So sad to her of her passing after much suffering. Rest in peace.

I worked with her years ago on Felony Review. I really liked her and will remember her in prayer. RIP Sue. You always brightened the meets with your charm, sense of humor and intelligence.

Susan had been a childhood friend of mine. We often called each other by our middles names - she was Greer and I was Anne. I spent many fun overnights at her house with Charles and Martha (and Betsy and Rick.) She was my first Democratic friend, unique in Hinsdale - we laughed about that lot later. She was part of a wonderful family and was a dear friend. She went through a lot but she was lucky to have Cal in her life. I am so sorry for her loss to her family and the world.

Susan and I grew up together in Hinsdale and were in Brownies together all the way thru High School. We talked recently and reconnected with laughter and stories. So much time passed between contact and I am regretful of that. She was a very sweet, enduring and smart cookie. I know she will be missed by many....Patricia Askew Enos
