Not sure what to say?

Jim, I did not know Susan but I understand love and loss. My heartfelt sympathy for you and your family. Bev Rambo

My company has provided cleaning services for Susan and Jim for more than 16 years. Susan was a wonderful, intelligent understanding person that knew so much about anything you might talk to her about. She was absolutely wonderful to each and every employee that ever cleaned her house and even became a mentor to some. I will so miss talking to her on the phone and having intelligent conversations with her. She was a wonderful woman!

Susan had a pure and compassionate heart. She volunteered at least twice a week at Webb MS for at least 2 years and I had the privilege of working with her. She always tried to connect with and reach her students and each semester she brought healthy treats to celebrate their hard work. My last memory of her is a card she sent me congratulating us on the birth of our son. I am not surprised to read how many lives she touched. Such a sweet lady who will be missed. The Garrison family is in my...

Susan was the most gracious, kind, witty, and brilliant lady. I will miss seeing her at Karavel and our neighborhood HEB. I am so glad I was able to give her a hug less than two weeks ago. My deepest condolences to her family for this sudden loss of such a wonderful lady!

Susan was married to my brother Jim for 45 years and he loved her so much. I am on my way to Austin for the service on Saturday. I can only imagine the depth of his loss.

My deepest sympathies go out to Susan's family. She was an intelligent, witty, caring, and gentle woman who made a giant imprint on this earth in a quiet way. Susan had a positive impact on every life she touched, and she will be warmly remembered.

Im so sorry my prayers r to the family I use to clean her house

Susan was the best mentor, colleague, and friend one could ever hope for. She was as warm, kind and funny when I saw her last month as she was when I first met her 24 years ago. My heartfelt condolences to Jim, Emma, Paul and the rest of the family.

I was shocked and saddened to learn today that Susan was gone. We were colleagues on the Opinion Committee for twelve years, and Susan was always available to advise on complex questions of law. Her memory was encyclopedic, and her generosity, patience, and friendship unbounded. I know she loved her family dearly, and I am, in the Quaker phrase, holding her and them in the Light.
