Susan Lee Gordon

As one of Mrs Gordon's countless students, I was privileged enough to spend a few hours a week with her, and only for a few years. Yet the impact was great. I find myself often thinking back to her lessons, but mostly of her as a person. She was a wonderful teacher, but it was her personality which allowed her to be so exemplary. She was patient. Thank you for welcoming Tom, Shelby and I into the Guernsey Family. I had so much fun with you when you and Lori visited us, and we went to NV. We were all such good travel companions on that road trip! Your mischievous laugh and sense of humor was a joy to be around. You are such a genuine soul and I know our lives will be changed by your passing. I hoped you would come back again to visit but it was not meant to be, I wish we could have spent more time with you in person....

Our deepest sympathy to Sue's family. I met "Super Susie" back in the late 1960's when we both worked at Fed Life Ins. Co.in Battle Creek. We became friends and shared an apartment on Battle Creek Avenue. I was in her wedding in 1968. Remember the good times. Sharon

Mrs. Gordon was my teacher 6th through 8th grade. She was a great teacher. I learned a lot from her. Especially loved the project where we created our own town. Also loved doing the year book with her.

Mrs. Gordon was our children's teacher at St. Joseph's. What a fantastic teacher & Person .Our children loved her so much. She was tough, but so good. We were all blessed to have her on earth to teach us all.
