Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear about Susan’s passing. My heart goes out to Jon and family-Sue was a joy to be with. What wonderful lunches we would have together. We’re sure gonna miss her! Love Ron & Kathy Machtan.

I am so sad to hear this news. I knew Sue and Jon back when Serigraphics was a very small business; Jon gave me my first real job. Sue cracked me up every day—one of the most delightful people I've ever known. I was fortunate to reconnect with Sue and Jon via Facetime last year, and we got to talk old times. What a wonderful gift.

I join many in saying goodbye to a truly special friend of over 50 years. I first met Sue, and Jon, as newlyweds in a hotel lobby in NYC. We were all part of a study program in Amsterdam and the hotel was our rendezvous point. I knew no one in the program but spotted two young, eager to explore, and very blond people and knew instantly that they were fellow Minnesotans. Sue marveled that I could pick them out of the crowd. I told her is was a simply clue...."the straw that was still in her...

Really too bad we have lost such a loving, positive and encouraging person. You and your loud laugh will be so missed.

So so sorry that we have lost such a lovely person with her great laughter and wonderful smile. condolences to Jon and the family.

I am stunned. This is late as I just heard. Every time we got together it was a blast. Her infectious laugh could be recognized anywhere. So many fun memories of her. Jon, Molly,Adam, and families, I just can’t say how sorry I am. She was a strong lady who I adored. Rest In Peace, Sue. We will share more laughter when we are together again.

Sue was the kind of friend that once you were her friend, you always were her friend for life. I could talk to Sue about anything and everything and she would give me a straight answer from her heart. And the same goes for Jon. They were two peas in a pod and both my husband and I loved them and always will. We have known them ever since we moved into Minnetonka approximately 40 years ago when we moved into house on Red Oak Ridge. At that time, there were children nearby who attended school...

We are Saddened at the loss of our neighbor Susan Halverson. She will be greatly missed by all of us neighbors. Her shining face always lite up anyplace she was. May she Rest In Peace.
