Although I never formally met Susan. I´ve known her amazing daughter, Elana, for over 25 years. We both lived in KC and later in Austin. Knowing her, I was so devastated by this terrible loss, especially since we were the same age. My deepest condolences to all her family members.

Remembering Susan fondly as I write on behalf of my beloved husband, the late Jim Vincent. Susan and Jim were the dearest of friends for twenty five years. Sharing the joys of music together, love of family, and many years as neighbors. Jim lovingly called Susan, `The Duchess of Hammerton´. My hope is that they are laughing, and making music together again.
