I remember Susan as a caring and selfless person, who took life cheerfully one day at a time in spite of difficult circumstances.

Dear Mike. Martha and I were saddened to learn of the sudden loss of your Mother. Any loss is difficult to accepte but a sudden one is even harder. Both of us do remember meeting your mother at your glorious wedding to Anne. Since we did not really know her, we were particularly interested in learning about her life. Dear Michael, Anne, Karen and Jonathan, I want to offer you my heartfelt condolences and sadness upon hearing of your mother's death. I was blessed to get to know her and visit with her when she lived in South Orange and I was her rabbi. She had a beautiful, kind soul and always had a smile for everyone she met. May her soul rest in peace and may our traditions give you all comfort in your grief.
