You took care of me for a short time at the wound care center. You were kind and gentle and I truly send my condolences. Having lost my husband not long ago I just want to let you know I will pray for you and that God would give you the comfort you need.

Although we lost touch in our adult lives, I have always thought of Susan often and very recently, with a smile on my face. Susan and I grew up together. I have pictures of our birthday parties as far back as five years old through adolescence and early teenage years while attending summer camp in North Carolina together. I will forever remember her for her friendship, kindness, and grace. Truly, heartbroken to hear of her passing. The Lord has received a very special angel

Tom, The funeral service was beautiful, moving and a fitting sendoff for a truly wonderful woman. You held up well for the remembrance portion - much better than would have I. Were Susan physically there, she would have applauded your effort and your love. Lucky you are, indeed, to have had 45 wonderful years together. Susan is long last at eternal peace. I wish for you a speedy recovery as you walk the long days of mourning that surely lie ahead. Know that life begins again when the morning...
