Read MoreShe was such fun to be around. She helped our band in Kalamazoo by supporting our recording projects. She even accompanied us when we played a gig at Jackson State Prison in 1985. She will be missed.

I'm sorry for your loss Betz family, especially Dana who was Susan's biggest fan and caregiver. Anyone that knew Susan recognized a vivacious woman who clearly was "one of a kind". She had a remarkable artistic gift for decorating and a bold, unforgettable presence. Creative, spirited, and full of personality, she lived life on her own terms and brought energy and color to those around her. As my neighbor and friend, she will be missed.
