Wow. I'm stunned and saddened that this light has gone dark. Susan was a wonderful colleague, a feared competitor, a brilliant mind, and a lovely person. Her ever lively spirit, captured so aptly in her joy of debate (and winning those debates) and the range of her intellect are forever etched in my mind. A great loss for her family, her industry, and her community.

Susan was a great role model, someone who led by example. She showed unparalleled generosity to me and to so many other employees of the successful firm that she built. Thoughts and prayers to her devoted husband John and to their children (who made her so proud), as they cope with this sudden loss.
