To Susie's beloved family, I just read about her passing in the Cornell news. It makes me so sad to know that she is gone, but I'm glad to read about all of her accomplishments and that she did many things she loved. We have kept in touch every Christmas including the last. Susie was one my suitemates in Anna Comstock Hall when we were juniors at Cornell. She is the last of those three suitemates to pass on. Dear Hutchins Family, Your mom, (Susie, as I knew her) was such a wonderful member of the St. Andrew's community. I'd gotten to know her over many years and worked with her for a. time on the Pastoral Care Committee. She knew absolutely EVERYBODY! I don't think there was one person who entered that church who had not been greeted, welcomed and introduced by Susie. When it came time to visit others who may have been home bound, short term or long, she always had the energy and conversations...
