Read MoreI always looked forward to seeing Susan and Paige and/or Blaire in church - choir side, about 2/3 of the way back. It was wonderful to see the great hats the three ladies wore and to witness how solicitous the girls were with Susan. As a fellow Carolina Tar Heel, I so appreciated how her walker was "tricked out" to show her colors!! She will be missed, but is indeed at The Banquet.

Susan was a treasure of a person and one of the first to welcome us to Cary Presbyterian in 1997. Her smile was infectious, to be sure. I am a better person for knowing Susan.
