Read MoreI am sad to hear of Susan's sudden departure from her family and friends, and the life she loved at the Dixon. We first knew each other from St. Mary's. She was the dearest person with a smile and gentle, loving spirit. Truly a lovely lady. I offer my condolences here to her family and many friends. May their memories comfort them as they grieve her passing.

I first met Susan in the 7th grade at Snowden. I remember one particularly heavy snowfall sometime during the Snowden years. Several of us made it to the hills and driveways around Brooks Museum of Art and enjoyed the fun of trying to sled! Afterwards we went to Susan's house and her mother made us all hot chocolate! Susan was a kind, caring person and I am sad for her loss but grateful for having known her. Blessings to all family and friends. Patsy Dougherty
