Susan Bowman Keely

We are so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. She was our neighbor, and we felt lucky. She was a lovely lady. She always drove so carefully because of our son sometimes playing in our street, and was always interested in him and sweet to us. Our condolences to her family.

Meadow Pool and Glorietta School were the community meet and greet places for many residents in the Glorietta area. I first meet Susan years ago at Meadow Pool. Her youngest son Colin, age 6, was in the same age group as my son Neil, age 5. It is easy for me to understand that she received high honor for her academic achievement and commitment to others from the University of Tennessee, because she presented those same qualities at Meadow and Glorietta. Susan was a great mother and longtime friend of mine. I enjoyed her thoroughly and loved being invited to share her beautiful dinners. Her boys and daughters-in-law, Shelly and Heidi are a tribute to the Keely family. Susan was so proud of them. She will be missed.
