Auntie Candy was the "cool" auntie who drove a VW bug in the 60s, visited us in SF in the 70s and took 7 yr. old me out to lunch and a nature walk near GG Bridge (to her horror inadvertantly coming upon a nudiest beach!). One of my fondest memories was when I stayed with her in Vermont as a nanny for newly born Emily and little David as she returned back to work.
