all who were touched by her life. My memories
of her are vivid and treasured. I can hear her
voice and see her smile so clearly. From so

I'm sure you don't remember me, but my parents, Jan and Art Brooks lived around the corner (on Halburton) from Mel's Station. We, Brooks kids, remember his many kindnesses to us and to our family. To Kiki and Eric;
It's with such sadness that I hear about Susan's passing. Even though we all have not kept up through the years, I have such wonderful memories of all of us playing cowboys and indians and other games, when we were very little in kindergarten. Though my life growing up in Shaker seems so long ago, these sweet memories of Susan and the two of you, are among the happy ones that will stay with me forever.
