Not sure what to say?

Can't believe it's been almost a year. We still miss her dearly. We've recently been reminded about the influence she had on her grandchildren by our son Chuck who is now 7 and in 1st grade. In his writing class he was told to write about something important to him. We've only received the "sloppy copy", but the first piece was titled "The Horrible News" and he talks about Gram getting a cold and going to the hospital, having a baby sitter and then his parents coming home to tell him the...

My Mom, Sue Logsdon
By Patti Parsons, May 27, 2009

This is the eulogy to Mom that I read at her funeral:

Mom, I will love you forever.

We’ve heard so many wonderful comments about our mom, Sue Logsdon, this week. We have heard about her delightful sense of humor, her kindness, sweetness, generosity and patience, and the way she made each person feel special. My cousin Donna Logsdon, who grew up in California, sent me an email yesterday describing how,...

Phil -- I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. It sounds like she was a wonderful person. Please know that you and all of your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear friends: Please know that our family is thinking of you and all your family at this time of loss. We know this will be a difficult time as you all adjust to life without her presence. May the many wonderful memories you have of her be a comfort at this time. You will be in our prayers. Sincerely, The Kalika Family

Dear Logsdon Family,
We were very saddened to learn of your mother's passing. All of you have a special place in our hearts. Our thoughts are with you in this sad time.
Love, Thad & Janice

I am writing to all the Logsdon family to express the deepest sympathy from the Tarpey Family @ the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. We especially thank Phil for letting us know about your Mom. I also want to thank your 'Aunt Jacky' for telling us so many funny stories of growing up the youngest in a family of ten..and of her special warm bond to her sisters. You have always been a special family in our lives and I hope that the memories of those who knew your Mom give you the power...

Patti: I am keeping your family in my prayers at this time. Your mother has been a great influence on you in your role as a mother and parent who advocates for her children. Though you will miss her greatly, you may also cherish her words of wisdom and fond memories with a spiritual joy while continuing your vocation as a mother here on earth. In that way she may continue to live on as mom. God bless and keep Him close in these coming days.

Patti, You and your family were incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful person in your life. She will always live in your memories. I will be thinking of you and your family in the days and weeks to come as you adjust to life without her. God Bless Each of You!
