Not sure what to say?

So very sorry to hear of Susan’s passing. I so admired her spirit and dedication to the treatment of breast cancer. She was a true pioneer and trailblazer. I knew her back in my days at AMWA and was in awe of her passion and commitment. My thoughts and prayers are with her wife and daughter and the entire breast cancer research community. Her passing is a huge loss for all of us. She will be deeply missed.

To Dr. Helen Cooksey, and all your family: I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of Dr. Susan Love. I saw you once or twice in Massachusetts before y'all relocated to the West Coast. Thank you so much for educating me about dense breast tissue.

My friend, Cathy, and I are patients of Dr. Stephen Forman, and we enjoyed seeing y'all at City of Hope a few times.

I send you my deepest condolences and profound sympathy.

Dr Susan Love was the main speaker at a women’s conference I attended in the 90’s. Her famous quote was ‘if you’re diagnosed with breast cancer don’t panic. It’s probably been there several years. Sit back have a cup of tea or glass of wine and read my book. Two years later I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her book became my bible and advocate for my life. That was 28 years ago!!! I have recommended her book to many friends including a sister and cousin. She will always be a guiding...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dr. Love's breast cancer book was an invaluable aide during my cancer challenge. I have referred many women to this book for it's careful detail and clear explanation of all aspects of breast cancer, from diagnosis through surgery and aftermath. It is clear that Dr. Live took the most important parts of the Christian creed to heart. She lived a life of action and contemplation as well as a life of service aND love. I am and will always be deeply grateful to her for her work. May she rest...

Condolences to family and Friends. At one point in time (1980's) was referred to see Dr. Love by my Gynecologist in Boston. Impressed with her knowledge and Brilliance. Believed she would help, or be the Physcian to find a cure for Breast Cancer.
