Not sure what to say?

Susan was a friend and long-time and beloved colleague - a sister feminist and beloved friend and associate of the U of U Women's Resource. Susan, as a LCSW, made it possible for our multicultural feminist counselor training program to accept students from the MSW program who required a licensed social worker to supervise students at their training sites. Susan donated her supervision over many years to many MSW students who were accepted to the practicum/internship at the WRC. Her...

I was deeply saddened to hear about Susan´s passing. Susan played a significant role in my professional and personal development as a young therapist. She was my clinical supervisor while I completed my practicum at the University of Utah Women´s Resource Center where she helped me embody competency, confidence dedication to social justice and compassionate humility in my clinical work. I feel a large amount of gratitude to have worked with her first as a student and then again as a...

I have known Susan for over thirty years. As a colleague we blazed hiv/AIDS and LGBQ trails together. Many times creating the trails together. It was always a pleasure referring and receiving clients. I consider Susan a good friend. It was always fun to hear about David and her sons. I will miss running into her at events.

Over 30 years ago, I met Susan shortly after moving to SLC through the Women's Issues Comm. of NASW. She came from the west and I arrived from all points due East, but we hit it off immediately. We both had given birth to sons in England, we were both 'old school and could laugh together. We went on to educate each other and wound up doing many, many presentations to various groups around the state. For our presentations, Andrew helped us with all things technological and the music (No Doubt)...

My heart swelled when I read of Susan's death. When I moved to Utah as a 41 year old, newly pregnant with my first child, Susan opened her arms, her home, her office and her community to me as I adjusted to so many new experiences. Susan was the definition of grounded and open to new thoughts and experiences at the same time. She offered her wisdom and strength many times over the years of our acquaintance. She pushed me to do the "work" when my mother died. She was honest in her opinions...

I will remember Susan's kindness and support over the years. I learned so much from her and have fond memories gathered in the living room of her home as she generously shared her wisdom and experience in support of women in community. Susan was a fountain of factoids and fascinating herstories. May her memory be a blessing.

We remember what a smart, funny, warm woman Susan was from many years ago in San Diego at Donna´s house and then again at Jessica´s wedding. She was such an accomplished person who left the world a better place. We are so sorry for your loss Helen and John Walsh

I am so sorry to read about Susan's passing. I always enjoyed interacting with her at KUER events. She was a lovely woman. My condolences to David and family.

I only met you and Susan thru Donna G, twice, but she was a force for good.
