I just learned of Sue's passing from one of her Iowa State University teammates on the women's tennis team. I had the pleasure of being the coach of the team and I knew Sue very well. I am deeply saddened by her passing. Sue was excellent tennis player on the Iowa State University women's tennis team and she played #1 singles. She was also a top academic student, and even a better person. Her outstanding skills, and all those personal qualities, made her a leader on the team. ...

I am so sorry and very sad to have actually learned of Sue's passing, last night, Feb 14, 2020.
- I was on the Iowa State University tennis team with Sue, starting in August 1976. - Sue was a senior and I was a freshman from Illinois. (I have a great picture of four of us if you would like me to send to you.) - I remember how Sue had so much passion and endurance as a runner. We all had such crazy, fun times on the tennis team together. Fond memories for a lifetime.
