Not sure what to say?

Just being with her for four days when we were 14-15 years old, and communicating by letters on a few occasions, this says how memorable she was. Susan was so beautiful, not only in physical appearance, but also in her awareness of others. These memories has last over 60 years, that should tell anyone what she meant to me, John C. Brown

I only knew her for five days at Camp Carson in Newport, TN in the summer of 1960. I thought she was so beautiful and I loved her as a 15 year old youth. I saw her once more when I was 18 years old when I passed by the Village Motel of which her Father owned and had a conversation with her for approximately two hours. What a beautiful heavenly soul she has made. Unforgettable!

I still think of at times. Such a beautiful , kind ,supportive and talented lady .she was always there for the ja band and the school. It was an honor to have known her and her whole family. I will be thinking of your family today. Hope all is well william nic and alex .

Susan was such a beautiful and gracious lady. I pray that all of you will find the comfort that she would want you to have. Bill has always been a kind and generous cousin.

Such a tragedy. Having worked with her as I also teach special classes with Goodwill, Susan will be missed. She left a legacy of love.

Dear Amelia and Frances,
I am so, so sorry to hear of Susan's sudden and tragic death. My heart breaks for you and her children and grandchildren. I have such good memories of both your parents and of you three girls from our time growing up in Somerville TN
Beverly Crocker Martin and Richard Martin

Will, Nick, and Alex,
Our hearts are just broken for all of you, as well as for your precious dad. Your mother was truly one of the dearest, kindest, sweetest, most gracious ladies I have ever known. I am flooded of memories of such happy times with her, from the soccer field, Covenant, Jackson Academy, Band Trips and fundraisers, to countless hours of volunteer work! She always gave straight from her heart with such great joy and love for her Lord! What a privilege to have known her,...

Bill and family, my heart aches for you. Having been a childhood friend and neighbor, Bill, I can only imagine what you and your family are enduring right now. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers daily. May you find peace and healing for you hearts through your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Helen Oakes Copeland
