Miss seeing Susan in Laguna at the art fair. Still own some of her beautiful artwork.

Sue was always so kind to me growing up in Laguna. I remember most hanging out in her art studio after school and the trips to Anza Borrego. My condolences to Wendy and Peggy.

To Liz and Melissa: I just now read this and I'm shocked and saddened. I just spent time with Sue at my 50th LBHS reunion 2 years ago and I had no idea she was ill. But, of course, she kept that battle to herself -- that was her way. I remember all the family and friends gatherings with the Tolle's and the Myers family over the years when we were growing up together, and I remember her wedding day, too. Dear Wendy.. So sorry for your loss. I heard many times from mutual friends here how much they enjoyed your mom's visits to Ottawa. What a talented and charming woman. Sending love and prayers to you and your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Ms McClure (as she was to me) taught me to paint. Every Friday 10 years I was there.
Now I teach art and my kids all know about Ms McClure. She's why we stretch our paper, mix colors-we don't take shortcuts! and turn spilled water into a" happy accident". I'm so grateful and want your family to know I'm many states and many years away from the gallery on PCH but I'm forever grateful for the time (years) I spent with her.
