Susan "Janine" McGill

Janine was always the one to pray for others. There was a couple of times when we would go and visit new people that I was going to visit for Hospice. She would ask them "can I pray for you"? Our last visit together when she was in Hospice as a patient putting herself second she took time to pray for me. I will forever cherish that moment.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out about her passing. She was a wonderful person. We worked together a long time ago and became friends.

Our hearts ache for the McGill/Johnson family. Janine was a dear saint, close friend, a wonderful neighbor, pastors wife, hairdresser, prayer warrior, praiser, and a caring christian who always reached to help in time of need. We have so many fond memories of our families growing up together. We are forever blessed by having Janine a part of our lives. Jackson residents will sorely miss her love and caring spirit!

It was a privilege to work with Janine, as a hospice volunteer. She truly loved people and had such a heart for those who suffered and needed help. She made a difference!

Janine faced death with courage and grace. She had a loving and kind heart that reflected Christ. She was a servant to the Jackson Community.

Janine worked at Grace Hospice in Kalamazoo for several years and exemplified care for her patients and her families. Peace be to her memory.
