Not sure what to say?

She was a very active and outgoing person from the time I first met her when I enrolled at Westbury High School in the Fall of 1960.
She was always very positive in her outlook on life, and I will always remember her that way.
And she remained throughout her life an active person and always seemed to be so full of vitality. May the Lord surround her with His angel band and lead her forward to the Blessed Homeland.

Susan was an amazing person... she was the glue holding our Westbury alum together with untold hours of paper work to keep up with everyone and plan get togethers. She was one of the happiest, most giving and kind people I have known and she will be greately missed by all who loved her. Doug Kingsbury

My deepest sympathy to you and your family for your lost. May you find comfort in the God of all comfort because he cares for you. 1 peter 5: 6,7

Such a sweet, kind, loving woman. We dated briefly at UT in mid-'60s and reconnected via Facebook due to our mutual love of Longhorn football. Hate to lose someone I've known for over 50 years but so glad to read of her full life and learn she had made so many friends. So sorry I can't attend service but will remember her always. -- John Lomax III

To the Mize Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I loved Susan as a friend in jr. and sr. high. I always admired her and her zeal for life. I hope one day I will see her again. She was a rare gem among mankind. Terry Barnett
