Susan D. Newlin of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday in her home. She was 59.
She was a member of Garfield Apostolic Christian Church and was baptized there. She worked at several places, including Columbia House in Terre Haute, Gander Mountain in Lebanon and Pace Dairy. She was a graduate of Elston High School in Michigan City.
Born March 20, 1954 in Michigan City, she was the daughter of Lawrence Kellogg and Beryle Dostie Kellogg. She married Dennis Joe Newlin.
Survivors include two daughters, Amber Hummel (Robbie) and Jennie Gibson (Joey Rathburn), both of Crawfordsville, eight grandchildren, Austin, Samntha Jo, Tyler, Micah, Paige, Zoey, Isaac and Maiah and great grandchild, Carson, with one more expected.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Kellog and sister, Darlene Childers.
Memorial services will be 3 PM Saturday afternoon at Burkhart Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Dowell officiating. A time for visitation will begin at 1:30 at the funeral home.
