Luyben Dilday Mortuary Obituary

Susan Jane O'Connor, 45, of Long Beach, sadly passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Born on September 9, 1970 in Manchester, England, Susan was the dearly loved daughter of Kenneth and Carole Williams. She moved to the US in 2002 and married John in Big Bear in 2003. Sue loved to travel and enjoy new experiences, she enjoyed music and painting, and was a good singer too. She will be remembered for her strong will and positive outlook, her cheeky sense of humor, her welcoming spirit and her insistence to seek and find a silver lining in everything. She is survived by her husband, John; brothers, David and Gareth; nephews and nieces, Scott, Ian, Meaghan, Jack, Allie, Cooper, and Audrey; her loving mother and father-In-law, her uncle and auntie, her cousins, her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. And of course, her devoted black lab and soul mate, Otis. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends in England and the United States. "A part of us went with you the day God called you home".

Memorial Services will be at 11:30 am on Friday, May 20 at Bethany Lutheran Church of Long Beach, 4644 Clark Ave, Long Beach, CA 90808. In lieu of flowers, please make a donations to the National Kidney Foundation : http://donatelifecalifornia.org.
