Colleen & Suzie joined us at the Convent School For Girls when Colleen & I were 3d graders, Suzie, a year younger. When they were introduced, the class ooed! Because they were so beautiful, Colleen a rose, Suzie, a lovely Lily. But the Hassetts were more. Father, Mother, 2 daughters, involved with the world, participating for the good with great energy. The brightest candles burn out quickly. You children know that all of us note their passing, but understand how important it is that they...

It is with great sadness that I read of Susan's passing. She was such a beautiful person both inside and out. My condolences to the family.

My deepest condolences to Pat and Liam. Your mother was a wonderful woman, mother and teacher. I have so many fond memories of her teaching art in our classroom and am so grateful for her encouragement throughout the years. Much love and sympathy to you and your family.

My love and sympathy to Susan's family. I was a classmate of her sister, Colleen, for many years at The Convent School in Syracuse, which Susan also attended. I remember with great fondness her beauty, talent, and grace.
