Susan was a very dear woman to me. Not only was she a client of mine but a wonderful friend. I started doing her hair right after her heart surgery. She hugged her heart pillow the whole time. I was shocked the day she told me about the place and the biopsy. But we both were staying positive. Not to long after she called me and came in for me to cut her hair. I thought she wanted a shorter cut but when she told me to shave it we both just cried. I was honored that she thought that much of me...

I will always remember Susan as a fighter not just physically, but for the things she truly believed in. She was a kindred spirit as we shared experiences with heart surgery. She will be missed but remember that love lives on.
