Not sure what to say?

Dear Duncan, I want to let you know that I am thinking of you and your parents this holiday season. It can be difficult although it is interlaced with so many wonderful memories. I know how that goes-so many do. Please never think those of us who were privileged to call your folks friends, to go to church with them, share the neighborhood with them and share food-and woodworking!- with them would be the same without their influence. I remember the day Mom & Dad left for The Presbyterian...

Duncan, I wrote you before after your amazing Dad had passed away, and also, I believe, when I knew your Mom had left Aiken. I hope you remember me-I surely remember you-and your remarkable parent's. I have some of your Father's woodwork which I treasure to this very day. Some were presents that I bought for my parents, Bob and Frances Spencer, and Daddy emptied his pockets every single day in the wooden plate and Mother kept the gorgeous tall 3 legged (for her) fern stand in our living...

Duncan and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. My Mama and Daddy (Bob and Frances) thought so much of your sweet Mom, as did I. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Allison Vause and the Spencer famiy.

Mrs. Rankin was sweetness personified. I knew her my entire life, and I can't remember her uttering a single negative word or complaint.

Susan was a precious, sweet lady and I always enjoyed chatting with her. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. May you take delight knowing she is with her Lord and Savior!

I enjoyed getting to know Susan the last few years. She loved the Lord and loved people. Praise God for her faithfulness. She will be missed.

I didn´t know Mrs Rankin but from reading about her, she was a remarkable and God loving woman. My deepest sympathies to her family.
