Not sure what to say?

Missing you with memories of happy times.

It was great getting to know Susan again during our NBS zooms. She had the same unique sense of humor, wry grin, and calm presence I remember so well from high school.Caring and thoughtful, she was a very special person who will always be missed. Sending all of you my deepest sympathies.

Dear Alex, John, Eugene and Ann, Susan and I started at NBS the same year and always had a kinship because of that. She was a dear friend to all of us and very much a part of our small circle of strong and independent women. We connected in recent years in person and on Facebook, where she often shared pictures of her beloved family and beautiful flowers. We will miss her dearly.

Over 40 years ago, Susan's steady spirit, wry sense of humor, and down-to-earth good will made her a much valued presence in our class. More recently, many of us reconnected over Zoom, which was wonderful. Susan spoke lovingly of her "two sweet sons" and her work, and was forthright about her illness. I and her other NBSisters will miss her.

Dear Alex, John, Eugene and Ann: I was so sad to learn of Susan's passing. I went to Nightingale with her, and remember her as being a great photographer, as well as generous, funny, and a bit mischievous. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Julie

We lost a treasure. Love to all. Nina

Dear Alex, John, Eugene and Ann, I am so sorry for your loss. I was in Susan's class at Nightingale Bamford and remember her as a very sweet, smart and caring person who loved to laugh. I am grateful for reconnecting with Susan at an NBS gathering and on our Class Zoom and seeing her incredibly beautiful photos on Facebook. I was so sad to hear of her passing and am thinking of all of you.

Susan has been a friend since the 4th grade. We started at Nightingale together. ALS is such a debilitating and cruel illness. May she rest in peace. May her family find peace as well.

I love you mom and will miss you forever. You'll be carried forward in my own weird idiosyncrasies and memories that you help develope.
