Mrs. Samsa was my third grade teacher. I remember everybody was terrified of her including me my first day of school, but as the year went on she became my all time favorite teacher. I am a sophomore in college now and to this day I have yet to be blessed with half the teacher she was. She truly wanted the best for me and I was one of many who got awarded the hand writing award for three years in a row. My little sister was less fortunate than I was in school and had a very difficult time...

I was so blessed to have had Mrs. Samsa 35 years ago for my third grade teacher. She instilled in me a love of reading. Especially Lttle House on the Prairie books. I am so sorry for your great loss. She was a wonderful person.

Susan was the most living and caring teacher that I had the privilege if knowing. My grandchildren felt safe when she was around. She was so away to talk to. Every child that she taught had an opportunity to excel in whatever they chose to do. She was the one teacher that all of the kids remember. Many tears have been shed in our home. We know that Heaven has gained an angel.
