Our paths just recently crossed at Fortis College as colleagues. Boy o boy, did she bring joy and happiness to the classroom for the students. She had a beautiful way of lighting up the room. I, personally, will miss her greatly. Dear Family, I pray for your comfort and peace during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Kate PIttman BSN, RN

Heaven just gained a beautiful angel! She's probably flipping back that beautiful blond hair and saying, yet another glorious day in Heaven! I can't imagine a world without Susan. Her infectious smile, her love for the Lord, her beautiful spirit.
My sincere condolences to you, her family, who's loss is unimaginable. Her candle is no longer burning here, but her star is shining bright in the night sky.
She touched so many people you will never even know. She'll be missed beyond words....

Mrs slavens was a wonderful teacher and cared so much about her students, she would talk to us about anything and help us in learning any way she could. She was a god send. I'm sorry for the family and this incredible loss.
