Not sure what to say?

I was shocked to found this obituary as I was trying to contact her regarding another former colleague's passing. Dear Susan, you will be missed.

Just learned about Susan. For over 25 years that we kept in contact, from her undergraduate days until the late 90s, Susan purveyed humour and perspicacity, irony and diligence.

I am so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. She was a good friend in college. Her sense of humor always reflected her sparkling wit and intelligence. She was always a very hard worker and was talented in so many areas of life.

I admired Susan for her humor, her smarts, and her fortitude. I realize that I only knew a tiny part of her remarkable life. I send my condolences to all those who held her dear.

I really enjoyed working with Susan, I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Susan and her family during this difficult time.

Bud told me a lot about Susan. I loved her from his stories, although I haven't met her personally before. I hoped to see her one day, but God wanted to see her first. I know that she is in a better place now. I pray for her. She lives definitely in all our hearts.
May Allah have his mercies upon her. This is what we say as Muslims, and it gives us a lot of inner peace.. You were loved Susan and your soul will be with us forever..

We live around the corner from Susan. She faced her illness with an admirable dignity. She was a quiet, kind, respected member of our little neighborhood. Our thoughts are with Susan and her family.

My deepest symphathy. Susan was a great friend (how many people can discuss Ernest Shackleton with you?), a wonderful librarian, and I admired her so much for her adventurous spirit, her intelligence and her discipline. I loved hearing stories about her travels—she told them with such humor and verve—an African safari (with that roommate who motivated her to take the single traveler upgrade on future trips), a trip up the Amazon and one to Antarctica, and that cruise in Alaska, up a stormy...

I had the privilege of working with Susan for the past few years. She was a wonderful teacher and a great listener. Her humor, strength, and intelligence will be greatly missed.
