Not sure what to say?

At CARES clinic where I worked alongside her, she has executive director, and I as medical director, I remember her fondly as both an inspirational and trusted mentor and leader, and also as a friend. It was a rare privelege to work with a woman of such talent and integrity, who contributed so much during a devastating pandemic. I think of her so often.

I have never met someone with so much intelligence, competence, grace and heart all rolled into one. She was such an important mentor and example to me and to so many others. Most of all, she was a wonderful friend. We will miss her so much.

This is very sad news. What a wonderful woman and a great boss. Our prayers to the family.

I am so sad to hear of Sue's passing. What an incredible woman who knew how to live life to its fullest! She was our neighbor on Mulford Ave. before she and Jim got married. Her legacy of caring and compassion will live on through all the hearts and lives she touched. Sending love and hugs to Jim, Mairin and Damian.

Paul and I are so sadden to hear of this lovely Lady's passing. Tho I only got to share time with her a couple of years ago when they traveled up here to Washington. I knew she was a very special person who had touched many and loved by all. may she rest peace no longer in pain but now a better part of God's great universe.Peace be with Jim and the family.

My condolences to Susan's family. She was an instrumental force during the early years of the HIV epidemic in Sacramento. Her energy, enthusiasm and compassion encouraged me. Her legacy will always be here with us. With Love and gratitude!

This is sad news. I remember Sue so fondly and new she was on to great adventures. She was the best, most genuine person in the early days of the AIDS epidemic here in Sacramento. Please let us know when the memorial event is finalized

I worked with Sue at the Center for Aids Research. She was a lovely, brilliant person and will be fondly missed.
