Not sure what to say?

Dear McDonalds,

Sally wrote us at Christmas that Susan was not doing well, but we were still grived to hear the news. I regret that your cousin in Chicago has not been in touch with you all more in these past years, but I always remembered Susan very fondly and am deeply sorry for your loss.

With love and friendship,
Andy Le Peau

I will always remember you and all of the wonderful things you did. Howard

Dear McDonalds,
I don't know if you guys remember me, I was in Belasco with Jackie and Jen a few years back. My sister is Melissa. I'm shocked to hear about your loss. Susan was an amazing lady and I'm glad I got the chance to know her when I did. We all give our condolences. Such a magnificent lady taken at such a young age.
Sincerely,
Erin, Melissa, Seyda, & Bill

I LOVE YOU MOM!!!!!!!!!!

Steve/Kids/Family,

It was a great shock and brought great sadness to me to read of Susan's passing in the Times. We pray that God's healing grace and blessings shower done on each of you at this very difficult time. We know that Susan is safely in His arms and awash with His glorious light and mercy. She was an incredibly wonderful person and what strength and courage she showed all during her illness. She will be greatly missed by many, many people. Please know that we have...

JAQULINE, JENNY AND RYAN, I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR MOM. I ENJOYED HER SO VERY MUCH. ALTHOUGH I DID NOT KNOW HER ON A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL, I DID ON A VERY PERSONAL ONE. YOUR MOM THOUGHT SO HIGHLY OF EACH ONE OF YOU. JAQUE- SHE ADMIRED YOUR TENACITY AND DRIVE TO MAKE IT IN COLLEGE. JENNY, SHE ALWAYS SPOKE OF YOUR RECITALS AND TALENT. AND RYAN, I THINK SHE REALIZED YOUR DREAMS BEYOND ACADEMICS TO BE SOMEONE ORIGINAL WITH GRAND IDEAS. I WILL MISS YOUR MOM DEARLY. REMEMBER....SHE'S ONLY...

It’s really quite hard to describe just how great Susan was. A collection of words come to mind: warm, caring, high positive energy, fun, serious, smart …. She was my mentor and had a much larger impact on my life than I believe she probably ever knew.

I am grateful for my blessings of having known her and worked with her. And I’m comforted by knowing how much she spread her legacy to her and Steve’s three wonderful kids and all who got to know her.

Steve,...

I will miss Mrs. McDondald very much. She was like a second mom to me growing up. Whenever me and Jackie got in trouble, she would ground us both! She was always there for me for anything that I needed. Her family and friends are in my prayers and I will never forget her.

We will never forget you, Susan. Your love for others and your courageous spirit will live forever.

To all of Susan's family:

May the memories you hold close to your hearts comfort you ALWAYS...
