To the Family and friends of Susan,
My most sincere heartfelt wishes of deepest sympathy for the loss of Susan.
I had the pleasure of traveling with Susan and Dixie to Paris and the South of France and only saw her a few Times after that journey and for sure she was just a lovely real person and a delight to be around especially when she offered you a chocolate Truffle!
Rest In Peace sweet Lady .

When I saw this picture of Susan in the obituary, I thought, I know this woman.I first met Susan in the 1980's at Grout school. I was the Child Development Specialist there. She was beautiful, talented, kind and loving. How could I not be drawn to her? She gave me a chocolate piece of heaven I have never forgotten and could never find again. She also gave me a beautiful lavender colored egg she had made which has been on my fireplace mantel ever since.
My heart goes out to Richard and her...

Dear Rich and family, Although I didn't know her as well as I would have liked, I enjoyed her company when she was part of the crew at Dixie's gatherings. I must admit that she seemed like a force of nature to me; loving, powerful, truly alive. I was privileged to have been in her sphere, however briefly. Our lives are each individual stories and are not complete until that last chapter; a story fully formed and told; this is the moment when we fold that person into our very being and live...

As a fellow athlete at Sunset High School, I observed Rich's
strength and dedication. I know these qualities of his will
enable him to get through this very sad and trying time. The
loss of such a fine individual as Susan is difficult to comprehend.
I hope that the memories of all the beauty they shared will help
him to succeed in this hardest of circumstances. Let the memory of such an exceptional lady bring him the best of thoughts. Hang in there Rich.

Our sincere condolences to all of the Swanson family. What a lovely remembrance of Sue.

Sincere condolences for your loss of Susan. May encouraging words such as those found at Psalms 20:1-2 be of comfort to you in this difficult time.
