Thode, Susan Died Oct 5, 2007, daughter of Roberta "Bobbie" Thode and the late John "Jack" Thode. Sister of Joanne Ellis and John Thode (Lynn Larson). Fond aunt of Ahron, Caitlin, and Spencer Thode, Angela and Jessica Ellis. She is further survived by many loving and caring dear friends....
My thoughts are prayers are with Sue's family and friends. I will always remember her laugh nad willingness to help. We had some very good times at Columbia Hospital. I wish her peace.

Sue and I were also high school girlfiends. We had some great times and when I think of Sue I smile and remember some of the fun crazy stuff we pulled. I am sorry to hear of her death. You have my sympathies.

Sue and I were childhood friends through grade school and had many classes and common friends in high school. I have many good memories of her beautiful smile, high energy, and often wry and witty observations of life around us. While we went separate ways after high school and did not interact much as adults, she remains an integral part of my childhood memories. I am so sorry that her life was cut so cruelly short--it is a shame that such goodness and true beauty (both inside and out)...

We will remember Sue as one of those rare people who lived life to its fullest by being a complete person. She shared her love of life with those around her. Working beside her as we did brought daily amazement. Her vitality, even in the first years of her fight against her disease, was a virtue worthy of imitation. One could try in vain to ignore her logic, which was all to often indisputable, but her humor was overwhelming and contagious. Sue was a truely good person who will be missed...

I was so glad that I was there at Sue's side in her last days. I have many memories of Sue and will cherish them always and smile when I think of them. I will truly miss my best friend. Louise
