Dear Thomas Family,

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother! She was a wonderful lady. She was always so kind to the UPS driver, talented in making our custom curtains, helpful with my special education students at Fisher School, helpful in her rental business to my clients and always kind and friendly! She will be missed! Your home was one of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen; her 'little piece of paradise'!

So sad tonight. Susie was my DON at Fairhaven Nursing Home, Moline, IL back in the early 70's. We had so much fun and adventure in doing our jobs. We both went to U of Iowa, same church in Moline and enjoyed life to the upmost. Susie's family was wonderful to me......many Friday night boat rides on the Mississippi. I was able to stay in touch with Susie thru her brother, Al. It's been awhile but my memories of our friendship will be with me forever. Love to all!

After nursing school I lost contact with Sue, but had good memories from those days. It has been wonderful to read about the life of caring and joy she brought to her family and friends. May her family carry her love forward.
