Susan Tolsky

I knew Susan as a student in the UT Theatre Dept. in the mid 60's. So bright and funny, her immense talent stood out even then. As an upperclassman, she befriended me with kindness and support. Though I admired her engaging personality, it was also her humility that I remember so vividly. What a warm Soul who is upon another stage now but still entertaining with her God given talents and LAUGHTER. With gratitude for always being so down to earth and accessible.

Really enjoyed her work in Here the Come Brides and other TV shows. She had true comedic talent, and her voice always triggered laughter. So sorry she is gone, and wish I'd met her along life's way. She leaves a fine body of work behind, and I hope she will always be remembered with laughter and smiles. Joy she gave us, and joy she has found.

God bless you Susan and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the laughs. We'll miss you. XO

starting with HERE COME THE BRIDES
and catching BEWITCHED in reruns. She was a favorite on THE VIRGINIA GRAHAM TALK SHOW.

I'm sorry to see that she passed away. I worked with her on "Madame's Place" back in the 80's. My condolences to her family.

I´m so sorry to be coming to this late. Sue and I were good friends from the late 80s to the mid-90s. She was fabulous, and a handful, and I adored her. We met because I produced radio commercials, and we would use her in spots, and, of course, she was always hilarious. But then, our friendship developed into a much closer and more personal bond, and we had many dinners together. I remember her house in the valley so vividly. My family was saddened to hear of Susan’s passing. We may have been related. There aren’t many Tolskys around but there is my family and sister in Chicago and another sister in LA, also a character actress.
