Not sure what to say?

To the Turner family I met Susan in 1971 when she and Melba lived with Mrs. Willis on Main St. I lived there as well for one year while my husband was on an isolated tour of duty in Alaska. I had one son Kevin at the time and he just lovedSusanand Melba. We all went to Main St Baptist Church. We had so much fun with the Haynes family and I remember the Alexander family. Susan were such a wonderful person kind, easy going and giving. We lost touch over the years but I never forgot...

In loving memory of Susan who started at William Carey College with me in 1966. Have not seen Susan since we completed Carey. I left the State and have been gone every since. In 1967 or 68 we worked on Voter registration along with her life long friend Mary E Johnson. May God Bless her in her transition and know that her old friends will surely miss her. Be Blessed my friend.

Everything is over now for you, but the pain of your death still lingers with me and others. It is going to take me a second or two to move forward. I wish, I should have, I could have is all too late. All I can say is since you have made to heaven before me, save a seat for me. Much love to the family.

To the bereaved family,

We pray that you find solace and strength, to keep you whole through the pain and sadness you now suffer.
Hold fast to fond memories of happiness, family dedication, and that love you all shared. Your heavy hearts shall thus be comforted for love never dies.

In deepest sympathy,
Raeschelle & Stephan

Mrs. Turner served as the perfect role model for the many students who passed through d'Iberville High School. She was an excellent teacher who impacted her students through her love of math. She was the epitome of professionalism; she always dressed to perfection and carried herself with dignity and class. Thank you, Ms. T for the many years you dedicated to the students of DHS. You left an indelible mark on DHS. God Bless you.
