Susan Ann Ventre

Please accept my deepest condolences. Dr. Ventre was a wonderful woman filled with compassion, love and generousity. She will be missed by all who were touched by her care.

No words can describe the closeness I and my family, most of all my mother, feel to Lucretia, Susan Ann, Janet and their families. We found great closure to be able to be near to you in this time of sadness to celebrate Susan Ann's life and the lives she touched so tenderly.

Jean and I wish to express our sympathies at the passing of Susan.She was a remarkable individual and an outstanding physician.She cared for all she came in contact. I recall how she cared for Gil. And how she cared for her patients.Her accomplishments were many. Hers was a meaningful life.

Such a beautifully written obituary for such a deserving woman. Dr. Ventre was my pediatrician, she was an amazing doctor and a very sweet woman. I actually enjoyed going to see her when I was sick. I was saddened to hear of her passing. To this day every time I drive past her former office on Main Ave. I think of her.

Dr. Ventre was a wonderful part of my children's and my life for almost 20 years. She treated us like we were the only ones in the world whenever she closed that office door....what a wonderful safe feeling. She was always a good good doctor and my condolences to her family on the loss of a lovely, elegant woman.

My deepest condolences to the Ventre Family.... not only was Dr. Ventre an excellent pediatrician who's care,compassion and knowledge was limitless...but she also exuded taste,class and was an exemplenary patron of the arts! She and Dr. Franklin supported the local arts, the NE Philarmonic and local artists as well!

No matter what time of day or night you could always count on Dr. Ventre calling you
back when your child was sick. She was the best pediatrician anybody could hope to have. We were lucky to have her. My family will always remember her as a caring and giving doctor.

To Dr. Ventre's Family, my deepest sympathy to all of you over the loss of your loved one. Dr. Ventre will be deeply missed. My daughter was a patient of hers and adored her. She always welcomed the children with her smile (and lollipops) and brought a smile to their little faces even when they were ill.
