Not sure what to say?

I knew Susan well back in the days when I lived in Houston (in fact, as a journalist at the University of Houston before her, she came to me for advice about going in to journalism and I encouraged her to work for The Daily Cougar). I'll miss her.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I remember Susan as a fun and lively musician. I'm sorry she suffered thru cancer.

Prayers, sympathies and condolences for Susan´s family and all who loved her. Sending strength and healing. Celebrate her life through your daily being. I went to high school with her.

I had two great bosses at Bloomberg. Susan was one. Gone too soon.

As Susan´s brother-in-law, I always looked forward to seeing her and her daughters at family gatherings. We had some wonderful conversations, made even livelier by her humor, intelligence and broad knowledge. I´ll always remember Susan´s passion for writing and love for her daughters and my brother. She left us too soon, and will be missed.

I´m so sad to hear of Susan´s passing. I met Susan once. I was at Bloomberg´s DC bureau to photograph Susan´s business portrait. She was nervous about being photographed in an open space, but we had a blast & the portraits were wonderful. What a wonderful person.

I had the joy and privilege of being edited by Susan in 2022 and 2023. She introduced herself by telling me that she liked to speak by phone to her writers; that was new to me. After the first call, I anticipated it weekly. She was funny, gracious, and so wise. As an editor, she loved the quirky details; that's something I deeply appreciated. I learned so much from her, and miss her insights into writing and life. Susan leaves a deep impression. I give her family my deepest sympathies; let...

A fellow SHHS friend posted this obit on Facebook and I was shocked to see it. Susan and her siblings grew up down the street from my family on Roper St. Her oldest brother was my age, and her brother Jimmy was close friends with my brother, Louis. I think some of the Warren kids were in orchestra with me in high school. I remember Susan as a freckle-faced, golden haired, natural beauty, friendly and genuine. When I was in HS I was on the school newspaper staff and I remember that she was...
