Mom was a lot of special things. One was wise. She gave us, her children, the independence we needed to become our own. Mistakes would happen and she would give us guidance to get through it. Mom was also strong. Once, as a kid, I wrecked my dirt bike and I had a pretty severe cut on my leg. So severe, that my boot filled up with blood. I have known Susie since elementary school. We haven't seen one another in several years. She has been on my mind alot in the last 4 to 5 months. The last time she was out to our house she made her famous artichoke dip and I could not get enough. She left the rest for me as I raved over it so much. She was so full of life and a joy to be around. So sorry we had lost touch with one another. Heaven has a bright new angel named Susie and I am so glad she was my friend!!!!!!!!
