Susanne Grassmid

My family met Sue through her beautiful friendship with my uncle, Marv Huizingh. She was a comforting presence to all of us during my dad's final week and she continued to be a support and encouragement to my mom, Ruthe Toonstra, during these past 6 years. Sue lived out her faith in God and was a blessing to the lives of the people in her life. Your family is in our prayers as you mourn her loss.

I worked with Sue for many years at South Christian. She as a supporter we of the drama program, even donating a couch that appeared in many plays. My sympathy to the remaining family.

It has been a privilege and joy to know your mother. She was always gracious, kind and generous. A woman of great inner beauty that always shone of God's love. Our prayers, thoughts and hearts are with you as you rejoice her having been released into glory. Yet we grieve having to adjust life with out her. Praise God our good byes are not final, we will someday embrace again!
