Faithful To The End

Sr. Sue and I worked together when I was Pastor of the Cross In The Woods in Indian River. Her radiance was able to turn any darkness into light, a cloudy day to sunshine, and truly tears into laughter. Her boundless energy was contagious as was her loving smile. I knew when Sister Sue was around all would be fine. What a charismatic woman. She had projects galore and each one was better than the last and all made the parish better. Her enthusiasm about everything was amazing to see,...

Her smile, her grace, her caring and kindnss stay in my heart. Watching her walk was like seeing and angel float down our marble floors. Peace, Julie Maurer

To the family of Sister Sue, She has been on my mind lately and now I know why-her birthday! I just learned of her passing but know that she lives on in the hearts of many. When she did her "Jest for the Health of it" presentation for our Cancer survivors in Bay City, no one left without a smile. I feel so privileged to have witnessed her energy and faith. Thank you.

Let me add a message as I remember my dear friend, Suzanne Tracy, on the date of her birth 77 years ago. Finding the perfect card for this beautiful, funny lady was always one of my favorite things to do.

I hope that all the saints and angels and all your family in heaven throw you the BIGGEST, BEST birthday party EVER!!

So sorry to be so late learning of Sister Sue's passing. She always brightened my day when she would call to order copies of Praying Through Cancer (she was a contributor to that book). I will missing hearing her cheerful voice.

Sister Sue
Just saying your name brings peace to my heart. You blessed me as I was napping during one of my wife's infusion sessions. May you forever rest in peace knowing you did multiple good deeds while here with us

I had Sister Susanne for religion in 7th grade at St. Francis. Mrs. Monaghan was my homeroom teacher. I recall the class begging her to play "Dizzy Fingers" on the piano. We were all in awe of her talent...watching her fingers dance across the piano keys...such a treat to see a nun share her talent. I also recall she told a story about a night she had been with her family...looking for a hotel in the area...having no luck...feeling a bit afraid. She also told about a drive one...

As my teacher in 5th grade, Sister Susanne inspired and enlightened in countless ways. Heartfelt condolences

So sad to hear the news of Sister Sue's passing. She was such a joy to work with while at Mercy Hospital. No matter the challenges (cancer) she faced in her own personal life, she always wore a smile and was so uplifting and comforting to everyone around her. She will be missed!
