'Comedian in the Family'
There are probably three things one needs to know about Sushil Solanki. He adored a good game of cricket, he doted on his 4-year-old son, Brendon, and at a meeting a few weeks ago with his family and a minister from his native India, he devoted himself to God.

"He was a cheerful, sensitive person," said Amit Macwan, who was married to Mr. Solanki's sister Sunita. "He was very, very close to his son. They often played cricket together. Brendon called him 'Sus' - I never heard him call him Dad."

Mr. Solanki, 35, worked as a computer operator for Cantor Fitzgerald. He and his wife, Lynette, lived near his sister and her family on Staten Island. He was the kind of guy, Mr. Macwan recalled, who stopped by the house on Sept. 10 to ask why his pregnant sister's car was sitting in the driveway in the rain. He took the key and put the car in the garage. "He told me, 'Don't drive anymore,' " Mrs. Macwan recalled. "He was very soft-hearted, the comedian in the family. His way of talking made people laugh."

Not sure what to say?

Your niece beautifully spoke about you at the 9/11 ceremony this morning. God bless you, on this day and all days.

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

In memory....

Our family feels deeply the pain for Sushil's untimely death. Our sympathies are with his family. May God provide comfort and strength to them at this difficult time.

DEAR GOD SHINE YOUR LIGHT ON THIS WONDERFUL MAN..SUSHIL SOLANKI AND MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE WITH GOD AND HIS ANGELS.GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS..GOD BLESS AMERICA AND NEW YORK...MAY GOD AND HIS ANGELS GREET YOU AT THE GATES OF HEAVEN...AMEN

God, I don't even know where to begin.

I've worked with Sush for a little over one year but experienced more in that one year than most people in 10.

Cantor was my first job and Sush and I used to work 2nd shift with Stephen Krykin.

I loved that job more than anything, and the people like Sush made it possible for me to succeed and have fun working.

I've lost contact with him about 5 years ago, but always knew that I can always visit him up at...

We are very sorry for your loss of Sushil. It sounds like he was a very kind person. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when...

I worked with Sushil for many, many years. He was kind and quiet, yet with a great sense of humor. I hope his family and friends find solace in their memories of him.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Sushil.I was a co-worker of Sushil and I remember him as a pleasant and genuine individual. His devotion to God and his family are never to be forgotten. May his wife find peace and reassurance knowing that Suhil is in God's presence now. So We can cry with hope and we can say goodbye with hope. We shall see your face again someday my friend.
God Bless.
