I am absolutely devastated by the passing of my friend of some 43 years. I find it so very difficult to come to grips with the fact that I will no longer be able to bask in the all-encompassing aura that was Susie. I always looked forward to any get-together that included her because I knew I would be trading jokes with her and be assured that she would respond to my jokes with high-spirited laughter.
